AV Setup – Audio Codec

The available codec types for selection are G.711 [PCM, G.729 and G.723.1. These audio codec

types are arranged in a different preference depending on the user’s environment. The user may

select a set which can be most appropriate to the use’s network settings and one’s preference over

audio quality.

The settings of Audio codec can be selected in the preference order depending

on the given environment

The user may select the codec type depending on one’s preference over the

network environment and voice quality.

The supporting codec types are G.711(PCM), G.729, G.723, G.726, G.722. Enter

these codec types in the order that the user prefers most to least starting with

Preference 1

If a codec type is not used, set the preference order to ‘None’. Each preference

can not be set with the same codec type more than once.
