to specify their network address details. This can be done by
c nnectbng a c m⁸uter srstem tem⁸ rarblr t each ALIF unbt
and usbng the In nbtr br wser-based c n guratb n utblbtr. Thbs
c n guratb n utblbtr als all ws numer us ther settbngs t be
altered.
Note: For basic one-to-one installations, the factory default
addresses may be acceptable for immediate use within your
network without the need to use a configuration utility or change
their values:

Manual factory reset

1 Rem ve ⁸ wer fr m the ALIF unbt.
2 L cate the small h le n the fr nt ⁸anel: ALIF1000 - Next t the
nlr Ethernet s c et; ALIF2000 - Next t the left-hand Ethernet
socket.
3 Push a narr w bm⁸lement (e.g. a strabghtened- ut ⁸a⁸er clb⁸) bnt
the h le and h ld bt bn. Meanwhble, ⁸ wer n the unbt.
After ar und ebght sec nds, when the fact rr reset has
c m⁸leted, ve f the fr nt ⁸anel bndbcat rs wbll ash f r a ⁸erb d
of three seconds to indicate a successful reset operation.
4 Rem ve the bm⁸lement and then re-a⁸⁸lr ⁸ wer t start the unbt
bn bts default c n guratb n.
