5.4

Calibration Wavelength Selection Function

An optional function of this instrument allows power calibration over multiple wavelengths.

If a measurement is performed at each calibration wavelength by using this function, the accuracy obtained
by using this function is much higher than the accuracy obtained by using the wavelength sensitivity correc-
tion function.

Also when correcting the wavelength sensitivity, the accuracy, which is much higher than the accuracy
obtained by using both the wavelength sensitivity correction and the standard calibration wavelength, can be
obtained by selecting a calibration wavelength that is the closest to the wavelength that the user uses.

For more information on using this function, refer to 3.1, “Menu Map” an d 3.2, “Menu Description.”
