Backing up and Initializing the Setting Parameter
3.4.1
Backing up the Setting Parameter
Because the setting parameters of this instrument are saved in SRAM and backed up by the power source
(AC adaptor or battery), the parameters are saved even if the power turns off. The settings are cleared if
no power is supplied from the AC adaptor and the batteries are discharged or dead. *3
The parameters can be saved in or loaded from the built-in non-volatile memory (FLASH ROM). The
parameters can be saved in or loaded from the 4 areas.
The parameters can be saved or loaded by using the keypad or by remote control.
For more information on using the keypad, refer to Chapter 3.
For more information on the remote-control commands, refer to Chapter 4.
The initial values of the parameters and backup items are shown in Table 3-1.
The outline of the parameter backup is shown in Figure 3-1.

*1:
Because the MYID setting is saved in the non-volatile flash memory, the setting is protected against power loss.
*2:
Wavelength preset is applied to the software revision B00 or later.
*3
If the power is turned on while setting parameters are cleared, for software revision C00 or later, the optical power meter starts
according to the settings saved in the USER-0 area of the nonvolatile memory. For revisions other than those above, the optical
power meter starts according to the default settings.
