ONNECTIONS

The NCAD-16-C pedestal includes hardware for mounting a ground bar to the pedestal. The following steps should 
be followed to attach the ground bar and terminate the ground wires.

1. Locate the ground clamp assembly on the divider panel previously removed from the pedestal (

Figure 16

).

2. Remove one of the ground clamps (

Figure 17

) and its bolt from the ground clamp assembly.

DANGER

A connection to ground MUST be provided to provide a discharge path for outside plant 
protection circuits.
