Power supply replacement

➩

To replace a power supply

1.

Open the sign. See “Opening a sign” on page 28.

2.

Turn the sign breaker to the OFF position.

3.

Remove the power panel cover by loosening the six screws and sliding the cover off.

4.

Remove all wires from the power supply to be replaced. 

DC connections:

•

V+ (orange-colored wire)

•

V- (violet-colored wire)

•

Signal harness

AC connections:

 

•

Hot (black wire)

•

Neutral (white wire)

•

Ground (green wire)

Power panel view may be reversed 180 degrees from the position above.
