To zero the display, press the
[ON/OFF/TARE]
key.
•
In practice when the scale is turned on, the
[ON/OFF/TARE]
key is
pressed to zero the display, if necessary.
•
After the display is at zero, place the baby to be weighed on the cradle of
the scale.
•
The display will show the weight in the chosen unit.
•
If necessary the weight of blankets or pillows can be accounted for, by
placing those on the cradle first and pressing the
[ON/OFF/TARE]
key to
zero the display. Then the baby to be weighed can be placed on the
cradle. The display will show the weight of the baby without the added
weight of the blankets or pillows.
7.0 SELECTION OF UNITS
•
Turn the scale on by pressing
[ON/OFF/TARE]
.
•
Press
the
[UNIT]
key to toggle between Kilograms and Pounds.
•
If the chosen unit of weight is Kilogram, next it displays “
0.00
” with a
triangle at the left top of the display.
•
If the display shows “
0: 0
” with a triangle at the left bottom of the display,
the unit is in pounds and ounces.
