Lower the tilt lever. Pull and lower the steering
wheel.

Remove the column band.

10. Reconnect the negative battery cable. Then, turn the
ignition to ON. Turn the steering wheel 90°
counterclockwise. Using a plastic trim tool, release
the retaining tab.
11. Turn the steering wheel 180° clockwise. Using a
plastic trim tool, release the retaining tab.
12. Remove the upper column cover.
