Lower the tilt lever. Pull and lower the steering
wheel.

Remove the column band

10. Reconnect the negative battery cable. Then press
the Engine Start/Stop button to select the ON mode.
Turn the steering wheel 90° counterclockwise. Using
a plastic trim tool, release the retaining tab.
11. Turn the steering wheel 180° clockwise. Using a
plastic trim tool, release the retaining tab.
12. Remove the upper column cover.
