Also, follow these tips:
• Start by moving forward as slowly as possible
• Push the throttle in small increments.
• Keep a wide stance on the board
• Lean forward when accelerating.
• While braking, pull the throttle backward gently
B. Low Battery Warning/ Charging
When battery is low, a small speaker from the skateboard will beep several times as
a warning. However, sometimes you may not hear that sound. It is recommended to
ride carefully when you feel the motor is weak as it may shut down automatically. In
such cases, stop using Blink® and charge it with the provided charger.
The same beeping sound will come from the remote control when the battery is low
in the remote control. In the event that it does, stop using Blink® immediately as
riding performance can be extremely unpredictable while the remote tries to stay
connected to the board while the battery charge depletes.
ALWAYS CHARGE THE BATTERY AFTER IT DRAINS.
The battery must get charged immediately after it drains for long term battery
longevity. If the state of charge is allowed to remain below minimum for too long, it
may not be able to be recharged.

Charging the skateboard is indicated by the LED indicator on the charger. The LED
will turn from red to green as it fi nishes charging. Charging the remote controller is

Blink® includes an energy saving mode- sleep mode-to prevent the battery from dying
if the user forgets to turn it off. After the system keeps idle for 5 minutes, both the
remote and the skateboard will go into energy saving/sleep mode. To reconnect the
two, both the board and the remote will have to be turned off. Do not alternate turning
them off and back on- make sure they are both off together and then turn them back on
after at least five seconds of off time.
