4. Instruction for lighting the appliance
Before grilling:
•
Wash the grill grate with warm rinsing water before using it for the first time.
•
Always wear grill or kitchen gloves when grilling.
•
Only use suitable long grill accessories (tongs, turner).
•
The barbecue lighters (dry or liquid) must comply with DIN-EN 1860-3.
•
Keep a sufficient distance from hot parts, as any contact can cause burns.
After grilling:
•
Wait until the charcoal has burnt out and the barbecue has cooled down completely.
•
Empty the cold ashes and clean the grill regularly before each use.
•
Remove grill food deposits with a suitable grill brush from the trade.
•
Always clean the grill with warm rinsing water.
5. Storage:
•
Protect the unit from moisture and bad weather.
•
If necessary, cover the unit with a suitable cover after it has cooled down completely.
The fuel tank has a capacity of about 1.7 kg.
Before first use, the grill must be heated and the fuel must glow for at least 30 minutes.
1.Stack the charcoal or briquettes in the fire bowl to form a pyramid. The grill can only
be used with charcoal/charcoal briquettes according to DIN EN 1860-2!
Pour over the pyramid lightly and evenly with DIN-EN 1860-3 ignition aid for charcoal.
2.Light the pyramid with a match after about 60 seconds.
3. Only grill food when the fuel is covered with a layer of ash.
