Waiting to Start the Test
You will need to wait for the traceline or
plethysmogram to become stable with a regular
pattern and you need to
remain still throughout.
Sometimes if your hands are cold the Perfusion
Index (PI) will be lower. If you rest and relax for a
few minutes and get your breath steady the PI will
improve enough for you to take a reading but
remember not to touch the
Start button on the
App with the hand you have the Activ8rlives Pulse
Oximeter2 attached to.
Ready to Take a Measurement
When you feel that the traceline or plethysmogram
is stable and has a uniform wave size and the PI%
had risen, press
Start with your other hand.
The
Activ8rlives

Wellness and Diary App will give
you a countdown from 15 seconds to the time
when the reading will be completed. Continue to
remain still throughout.
