Chapter 3

Using the Print Server Manager

System

Double-clicking the “System” icon in the Setup screen generates the “System” window.

Printing Protocols

At the top of the “System” window is a list of printing protocols the Print Server
can use. Activate a protocol by clicking in the appropriate check box.

Port Name

The name of the Print Server’s three ports can be changed here. Enter a new
name in the appropriate text box to change.

Upgrade Firmware

To find the appropriate upgrade file, click

, then browse for the file. When the

file is located, click

Upgrade

to upgrade the Print Server’s firmware.
