4 . E L E C T R I C A L S A F E T Y
CAUTION:
Always turn off the electricity supply (circuit–breaker)
before making any connections.
This appliance should be plugged or connected, according to
rules and standards in application, only by an authorized person.
IMPORTANT: If the power cable is damaged, for safety reasons it
must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer’s after–
sales service department or a similarly qualified person.
IMPORTANT: The system must be fitted with an all–pole circuit–
breaker with a minimum contact opening of 3mm.
The electricity supply must be protected by a residual current
device with a maximum of 30mA, especially when installed in a
room containing a bathtub or shower.
5 . I N S T A L L A T I O N
The appliance must be installed as described in this document
and in accordance with the applicable standards and the rules of
good professional practice.
Device is protected from splashes of water, and can be installed
in bathroom within volumes 2 and 3, as long as the electrical
controls are out of reach of anyone using the bath or shower.
Power supply socket or junction box shall not be installed beneath
or directly over appliance, to avoid risk of damaging power cord
by heat. Socket should be installed in place that power cord reach
it easily and do not touch hot parts of appliance.
In a kitchen or bathroom, the junction box or socket must be
positioned at least 25 cm from the floor.
