Cleaning and Disinfecting the
On Call
®
Pro
Blood Glucose Monitoring System
The DisCide Ultra Disinfecting Towelette and the PDI Super Sani-Cloth
Germicidal Disposable Wipes are validated for use with the
On Call
®
Pro
Blood Glucose Meter. Please check http://www.aconlabs.com/on-call-pro
for the most current list of EPA registered wipes for use with the meter.
CAUTION:
Do NOT disinfect the meter with
any product containing bleach. Doing so
will void the 3 year warranty and may cause
damage to the meter.
Pre-Cleaning and Disinfection of meter
Before disinfecting the meter, please first use
a DisCide Ultra Disinfecting Towelette (EPA
Registration No. 10492-4) or a PDI Super
Sani-Cloth Germicidal Disposable Wipe
(EPA Registration No. 9480-4) to pre-clean
the entire meter surface by removing any
stains or debris. This pre-cleaning will pre-
pare the meter surface for disinfection.
After pre-cleaning, please use another wipe
to disinfect the meter. Wipe the entire meter
thoroughly and leave the surface wet accord-
ing to the contact times listed below.

After disinfection wiping, please allow the meter to air dry completely before
using the meter again. Avoid inserting any wipes into the inside of the strip port
and data port when performing the pre-cleaning and disinfection procedure.

NOTE:
Only one of the two disinfectants listed should be used on the device for
the lifespan of the device. The effect of using more than one disinfectant inter-
changeably has not been evaluated.
