FILTRES SOUFFLES SIDE
SIDE BLOW MOULDED FILTERS
5.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Cut off the electricity supply.
▪
The filter works under pressure; any air ingress into the system can cause the explosion of one of the components,
resulting in a risk of serious injury or of damage to the equipment.
▪
Always stop the pump before manipulating the 6-way valve.
▪
In order to avoid any deterioration of the pump and to optimise the usage of the filtration system, it is imperative to clean
the skimmer basket and the pump pre-filter on a regular basis ( valves in closed position, pump stopped).
▪
Never allow the pump to operate without water and with the valves fully closed.
VALVE
FONCTION
VALVE
FUNCTION
FILTRATION
Normal filtration and return to the pool:
Water suction by the skimmer
Circulation through the pump then through the
sand filter
Return to the swimming pool through the
delivery nozzle
DRAIN
No filtration: water suction from the pool towards
Drain
Used to reduce the level of water in the swimming
pool when it is too high
WASH
Cleaning the sand through back-washing (~3).
Used when:
- The pressure gauge reading increases by 0.4
bars compared with the initial reading
- Loss of power at the delivery nozzle
CIRCULATION
No filtration, water suction from the pool towards
Delivery. Allows an improved dissemination of
treatment products around your swimming pool as
these do not have to pass through the sand
Only to be used if you wish to treat your water
RINSE
After a wash: valve cleaning
Allows the sand to be repositioned and
remaining impurities to be removed
CLOSED
Stops any circulation
Mandatory position for cleaning the pump pre-filter
