Chapter 3

Removing the HDD Modules/Memory/Wireless LAN Card and the LCD
Module

Removing the HDD Module

Remove the two screws fastening the HDD.

Pull out the HDD from the notebook as shown.

Removing the Memory and Wireless LAN Card

Remove the four screws holding the RAM cover.

Detach the RAM cover from the main unit.

Pop out the memory from the DIMM socket then remove it (If the notebook has two memory, then repeat
this step).

Disconnect the main and auxiliary antenna from the wireless LAN card.

Remove the two screws fastening the wireless LAN card.

Then take out the wireless LAN card from the main unit.
