Chapter 3

Disconnect the hard disk module from the connector by pulling on the mylar tab on the hard disk module.

Remove the hard disk module.

NOTE: To prevent damage to device, avoid pressing down on it or placing heavy objects on top of it.

Remove the four screws (G) as shown.

Remove the hard disk drive from the bracket.

Removing the Optical Drive Module

See “Removing the Battery Pack” on page 62.
