To remove the HDD cable cage

Turn off the system and all the peripherals connected to it.

Unplug all cables from the power outlets.

Place the system on a flat, stable surface.

Remove the front bezel, inner front panel, side panel, and air
baffle.

Disconnect the SCSI cable and the SCSI HDD power cable from the
hard disk drive.

Loosen the four thumbscrews that secure the non-Hot Plug cable
cage to the chassis

(1)

Slightly pull out the cage from the chassis

(2)

Remove the HDD cable cage from the chassis.
