User’s Guide

PARALLEL PORT BASE ADDRESS

This parameter allows you to set the parallel port base
address.

Setting

3BCh(IRQ 7)

Corresponds to the parallel port with address 3BCh

378h(IRQ 7)

Corresponds to the parallel port with address 378h

278h(IRQ 5)

Corresponds to the parallel port with address 278h

Disabled

Disables the parallel port

To deactivate the parallel port, select the

Disabled

option. If

you install an add-on card that has a parallel port whose
address conflicts with the parallel port onboard, the
computer automatically disables the onboard functions.

Check the parallel port address on the add-on card and
change the address to one that does not conflict.
