Chassis Front Cover  

 

Location: The Chassis front cover is located on the front of the server system. Depending on the 

configuration, there may be two plastic components. One large cover and one small covering 

expandable drive bay options. Unless the drive bay options are utilized, then there would only be 

one cover.  

 

Type and number of fastenings: Plastic clasps  

 

Tools required: Flat Screwdriver  

 

Procedure:  

Step 1: Remove the front bezel from the chassis by lifting it upwards from the bottom and pulling 

off the front of the chassis.  

 

Step 2: Remove the cover plate from the front of the chassis using a flat screwdriver to unlock the 

plastic hooks.
