Optimal  Charging/remnant  Time  (CCA) 
button

  -  Use  this  button  to  select  the 

battery CCA value in order to proceed with 
optimized charging. The remnant time will 
be displayed. 

  When the CCA button is pressed once, the 

indicator will display “CCA” and then switch 
to “50” in approximately 1 second. 

  When  the  CCA  button  is  pressed  again 

within 5 seconds, the indicator will display 
“100”.  If  the  Battery  Charger  does  not 
receive  any  further  input  from  the  CCA 
button within 5 seconds, it will automatically 
proceed to REMNANT TIME charging mode 
with  the  OPTIMIZED  charging  current 
selected by the microprocessor based on 
the input value of 100 CCA. 

Note: 

•  The CCA settings that can be input by the 

user  range  from  50  to  999  at  intervals  of 
50 (e.g.: 50, 100, 150, 500, 900, 950, up to 
999). 

•  If the battey rating is larger than 999 CCA, 

the Remnant Time displayed may not be as 
accurates smaller rating batteries.

  When the Battery Charger is in REMNANT 

TIME charging mode, the display will show 
“Battery  Capacity  %”  (e.g.  10,  20,  ...,  90, 
FUL).  User  can  press  the  CCA  button  in 
order to display the remaining charging time 
on the indicator.

•  Remaining  charging  time  is  displayed  in 

“X.X”  h  (number  of  hours  remaining  in 
the  battery  charging  time)  for  5  seconds, 
and  then  return  to  displaying  the  battery 
voltage.

•  During the OPTIMAL CHARGING process, 

press  the  “CCA”  button  will  toggle  the 
display to show between “Battery Capacity 
%” and Remaining charging time. 

•  During  the  REMNANT  TIME  charging 

process, the CCA value can only be reset 
by restarting the Battery Charger . In order 
to  reset  the  Battery  Charger,  press  the 
“ON/OFF” button. 

•  During  the  REMNANT  TIME  charging 

process,  pressing  the  Select  button,  the 
Volt/Bat% button, or the Function Key button 
will have no effect on the Battery Charger. 

•  Once charging is completed, the indicator 

will display the word “FUL”.

 The Remnant Time is an approximate 

index,  its  accuracy  subject  to  battery’s 
condition and age.
