Installing the Objectives
Adjust the coarse focus knob until the
mechanical stage reaches its lowest limit
position.
Screw the 4×objective into the nosepiece from
the left or the right side, then rotate the
nosepiece clockwise and mount other objectives
by the sequence of low to high magnification as
shown in Fig. 1.
Installing the Comparison Bridge
Position the two microscope bodies the
appropriate distance apart and mount the
comparison bridge onto the two bodies. Tighten
the lock screws for each as shown in Fig. 2 and
Fig. 3.
