Powering your Laptop
The
(a) Slim Laptop Power Adapter
can be operated from any standard wall outlet
using the included
(b) AC power cord
. Plug the
(b) AC power cord
into the
(2) AC
connection port
on the
(a) Slim Laptop Power Adapter
. Then, plug the metal prongs
of the
(b) AC power cord
into an AC wall outlet. The
(1) Power LED
will glow green
to indicate power flow.
Finally, connect the
(3) Barrel pin connector
into your laptop to begin charging.
Power will immediately be delivered to your laptop. Generally speaking, if your
unit is not powered on, the laptop battery will still be receiving a charge.
PLEASE NOTE: It is normal for power supplies to be warm during use.
Avoid placing near heat sources, direct sunlight, or heat-sensitive materials.
Operating Instructions:
The AC power adapter is hot. Is this normal?
- Yes, it is normal for power adapters to become warm during use.
I am not getting any power to my computer from the AC power supply.
- Please make sure the AC power supply is plugged into a properly working AC
power outlet and securely connected to your computer. Also, make sure the
(1) Power LED
is glowing. In some cases, the
(1) Power LED
may burn out from
extended use.
