Notify the surveillance centre: Alarm triggering of the NVR/CMS for further processing (e.g.
recording on NVR, or full-screen display when alarm is
triggered in CMS)
8.6.3 Exceptions
Events can trigger the following exceptions:
- HDD full: If the internal SD card or a linked NAS drive is full
- HDD error: SD card or NAS drive error
- Network disconnected: Ethernet cable removed
- IP address conflict
- Illegal login: a reaction can be programmed to follow an incorrect login
The following reactions can be programmed:
- Send email:
- Notify surveillance centre (NVR/CMS)
- Activate alarm output
8.6.4 Face Detection
Enable face detection: This function can detect the existence of human faces in the video image.
Dynamic Analysis: When enabled, this feature displays a frame around a detected face.
Sensitivity:The higher the value, the sooner a face will be detected, even if the person is not looking directly in
the direction of the camera.
Time schedule
To set a schedule for the motion-triggered recording, click on "Activate schedule". Here you determine on
which weekdays and times the motion-controlled recording should take place.
The time period is selected by marking it with the left mouse button. If you click on an already marked period,
the details can also be set using the keyboard or deleted again.
To copy the time selection to other days of the week, place the mouse pointer behind the bar of the day of the
week that has already been set and use the "Copy to..." function.
Please accept the settings made with "Save".
Linkage method
Here you can set the action to be performed following motion detection.
Normal Linkage
Send email: You receive an email as notification; check the checkbox to
activate this.
Notify the surveillance centre: If an event is triggered, the ABUS CMS software can be
informed. You may then get a picture pop-up, for example.
Apply the settings by clicking “Save”.
