Gebruiksbereik en toepassing
Gebruik uitsluitend voor volwassenen!
Trek het lipje (1) eruit om het apparaat te activeren. Het inschakelen wordt aangegeven
door 4x rood knipperen. Door op de knop (2) te drukken om de LED te laten oplichten,
kunt u de werking op elk moment controleren. Het apparaat zendt ultrasone impulsen
uit die niet waarneembaar zijn voor mens of dier, maar die het vermogen van teken om
zich te oriënteren verstoren en hen zo weghouden. Het bereik bedraagt ongeveer 1,5
meter. In gebieden waar veel teken voorkomen, is 100% bescherming niet gegarandeerd.
Na activering biedt het apparaat bescherming voor ongeveer 12 maanden onder normale
weersomstandigheden. Het product mag alleen worden gebruikt voor het doel waarvoor
het is bestemd. Elke wijziging aan het product is verboden.
Het product vervangt geen enkele toezichtplicht. Houd altijd toezicht op kinderen!
Maak het apparaat veilig vast aan de kleding van uw kind. Let erop dat kinderen
de tekenbescherming niet verwijderen en inslikken: Verstikkingsgevaar! Houd
verpakkingsmateriaal uit de buurt van kinderen: Verstikkingsgevaar! Niet gebruiken als
speelgoed!
Verzorging en levenscyclus
Het apparaat is vochtbestendig (IP31) maar niet waterdicht. Droog het apparaat als het in
contact is geweest met water. Daarna kan het apparaat weer worden gebruikt.
Batterij-instructies
Dit product bevat een vaste lithiumbatterij CR2032. Permanent geïnstalleerde batterijen
mogen alleen door gekwalificeerd personeel worden vervangen of verwijderd. Gebruik
het product niet in omgevingen waar explosiegevaar bestaat, bijv. door ontvlambare
vloeistoffen, gassen of stof. Verbrand het product nooit! De batterij kan ontploffen in het
vuur. Bovendien ontstaan daardoor giftige stoffen.
Bewaar of gebruik het product niet op plaatsen waar de temperatuur onder 0°C of hoger
dan +40°C kan komen te liggen. Stel het product niet gedurende langere tijd bloot aan
zonnestralen!
EU-conformiteitsverklaring

Afvoer
Dit product bevat waardevolle grondstoffen. Voer het product aan het einde van de
levensduur af volgens de geldende wettelijke bepalingen. Elektrische apparaten,
oplaadbare accu‘s en batterijen mogen niet met het huisvuil worden weggegooid. Afvoer
en verdere verwerking moet gebeuren in overeenstemming met Richtlijn 2012/19/EU
betreffende afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur (WEEE) of volgens Richtlijn
2006/66/EG inzake batterijen en accu‘s, alsmede afgedankte batterijen en accu‘s.
Neem bij vragen contact op met de gemeente die verantwoordelijk is voor de
afvalverwijdering. Informatie over inzamelpunten voor uw oude apparaten kunt u
bijvoorbeeld krijgen bij het plaatselijke gemeente- of stadsbestuur, de plaatselijke
afvalverwerkingsbedrijven of bij uw vakdealer.
Voer de verpakking gesorteerd af. Karton behoort bij het oud papier, folies en plastic
onderdelen bij de recyclebare materialen.
Garantie
ABUS producten zijn met de grootste zorgvuldigheid ontworpen, geproduceerd en op basis
van de geldende voorschriften getest. De garantie heeft uitsluitend betrekking op gebreken
die op materiaal- of fabrieksfouten duiden op het moment van verkoop. Bij bewijs van
een materiaal- of fabrieksfout wordt de product na beoordeling van de garantiegever
gerepareerd of vervangen. De garantie eindigt in dit geval met het aflopen van de
oorspronkelijke garantieperiode. Verdergaande aanspraken zijn uitdrukkelijk uitgesloten.
ABUS is niet aansprakelijk voor gebreken en schade die zijn veroorzaakt door inwerkingen
van buitenaf (bijvoorbeeld door transport, inwerking van geweld), onjuist gebruik,
normale slijtage of het niet in acht nemen van deze handleiding. Bij het indienen van een
garantieclaim moet bij de product het originele aankoopbewijs met datum van de aankoop
en een korte schriftelijke beschrijving van de fout worden gevoegd.

Tirare la linguetta(1) per attivare il dispositivo. L’accensione viene indicata da 4 luci rosse
che lampeggiano. Puoi controllare in qualunque momento il funzionamento premendo
il tasto (2) e accendendo il LED. Il dispositivo emette impulsi a ultrasuoni non percepibili
dalle persone o dagli animali, ma che disturbano le capacità di orientamento delle zecche
tenendole lontane. La portata del trasmettitore è di circa 1,5 metri. Nelle zone altamente
popolate da zecche non è possibile garantire una protezione totale. Dopo l’attivazione il
dispositivo protegge, in condizioni atmosferiche normali, per circa 12 mesi. Il prodotto può
essere utilizzato solo per lo scopo previsto. Qualsiasi modifica al prodotto è proibita.
Il prodotto non esonera dall‘obbligo di supervisione. Sorvegliare sempre i bambini! Fissa
bene il dispositivo ai vestiti del tuo bambino. Assicurati che il dispositivo di protezione
dalle zecche non venga rimosso o inghiottito: Pericolo di soffocamento! Tenere il
materiale di imballaggio lontano dalla portata dei bambini: Pericolo di soffocamento!
Non usare come giocattolo!
Cura e ciclo di vita
Il dispositivo è resistente all’umidità (IP31) ma non impermeabile all‘acqua. In caso di
contatto con l’acqua, asciuga il dispositivo. Il dispositivo potrà quindi essere utilizzato di
nuovo.
Note sulle batterie
Questo prodotto contiene una batteria al litio integrata CR2032. Le batterie integrate
possono essere sostituite o rimosse solo da personale qualificato. Non utilizzare il prodotto
in ambienti con rischio di esplosione, ad esempio in presenza di liquidi, gas o polveri
infiammabili. Non bruciare mai il prodotto! La batteria può esplodere nel fuoco. Inoltre si
generano sostanze velenose.
Non conservare o utilizzare il prodotto in aree in cui la temperatura può scendere al di sotto
di 0°C o superare i +40°C. Non esporre il prodotto per troppo tempo ai raggi solari diretti.

Smaltimento
Questo prodotto contiene materie prime preziose. Al termine della sua vita utile, smaltire

Remove the tab (1) to activate the device. 4 red flashes will indicate that the
device is powered on. You can verify its operation at any time by pressing the

Disposal
This product contains valuable raw materials. At the end of its service life,
dispose of the product in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
Electrical appliances, rechargeable batteries and batteries must not be disposed
of with household waste. Disposal must be carried out in accordance with
Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), or

document. If a warranty claim is asserted, the product must be returned with
