7. Operation
7.1. turn on the recorder
To turn on / off the Eytron portable Mini digital recorder, press and hold the power button
for at least 5 seconds.
The default menu language is english. To change the language choose in the
main menu the item POWER ON SETUP. Here you can change the language of the
menu.
For the recording you can use SD as well as SDHC-Cards, e.g.: TV8961 4 GB or
TV8962 8 GB SDHC-Cards by ABUS Security-Center.
If the symbol
is showed, the SD-Card has been recognized correctly and the recorder
is ready. If the SD-Card cannot be recognized the REC LED flashes red.
In this case please format the SD-Card.
If the write protection of the SD-Card is activated, it is only possible to read recorded
data.
Attention
Never remove the SD-Card during the boot process. This can lead to permanent damage
of recorded data.
