Chapter 2

(14). Serial ATA Connectors

These connectors are provided to attach one Serial ATA device at each channel via Serial ATA cable.

This motherboard provides RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID 0+1 configuration for Serial ATA hard drives
through the NVIDIA MCP-04 chipset.

For model NI8 SLI, SATA5 and SATA6 provide through the Silicon Image 3132 SATA chipset, you may
configure a disk array by the Sil3132 SATA/RAID Driver option ROM utility.

(15). PCI Express x16 Slot

This slot is used to attach the next generation of graphics architecture.
