6.6.3 Adjusting the anti-spatter fluid
Mechanical adjustment
To adjust the spraying quantity, the system must be supplied with compressed air. The injection volume is determined by the
dwell time of the welding torch.
1 Move the welding torch (1) over the injection opening.
2 Move the welding torch (1) slowly downward (in the direction of the arrow). This ‘opens’ the rubber seal (2) . The welding
torch’s immersion depth is limited by the injection unit’s stroke.
WARNING
Damage to the eyes
When spraying with anti-spatter fluid a spray mist may form that can damage the eyes.
• Always wear safety goggles when manually adjusting the anti-spatter fluid.
