CONTROL OF THE ELECTRIC FIREPLACE
A. Buttons and indicators
On the left side of the control display there is a <I/0> switch. To active the electrical heater it is
necessary to switch this switch to the <I> position. If this switch is on the <0> position, than the
following functions are inactive.
There are four buttons on the remote controller, and four on the control panel of the fireplace,
each pair of buttons with the same label perform the same function:
< > button is power switcher of the electric fireplace; (left side of display)
< > button is used to adjust the brightness of simulated flame and logs;
< > button turns the heater on and switches it to low-power status. If the heater already is, turn it
off;
< > button turns the heater on and switches it to high-power status. If the heater already is, turn
it off;
There are four indicators on the control panel:
is the power indicator, it light up when the fireplace is working,
and turned out when the fireplace is turned off;
indicates the status of the simulated flame and logs. It's
brighten up when the flame simulate component is working,
and will be flashing when you adjusting the brightness of the
flame;
indicate the heater is working in low-power status;
indicate the heater is working in high-power status.
The red window on the control panel of fireplace is the eye of receiver, do not cover.
B. Operation
Upon delivery one button cell battery is already inside the remote control. Before the first
use, please remove the protective film on the battery compartment to ensure contact. If
no batteries are installed or the batteries are failing, the remote controller will be
unusable.
To use the remote controller effectively, point it to the electric fireplace and keep a
distance of 0,5 - 8 meters.
On the left side of the control display there is a <I/0> switch. To active the
electrical heater it is necessary to switch this switch to the <I> position. If this
switch is on the <0> position, than the following functions are inactive.
There're four buttons marked the same as buttons on the remote controller, each pair of
them perform the same function, choose as you favour.
1. Power control. Press the < > switch, the electric fireplace will be powered on,
and the lamp will brighten up. The heater will not be turned on automatically
when you power on the fireplace, please refer to paragraph 3. Note, all
operations are valid only when the power is on, except to "turn the power on"
operation. Press the <
> switch again, the fireplace will be powered off.
2. To adjust the brightness of the simulated flame one: If the fireplace is turned on, the light will
light up and the brightness is automatically at the highest level - 5th stage. There are a total of 5
stages: At stage 5 the brightness is the highest, at stage 1 it’s the lowest. To change the
brightness level press the
button once for each brightness level until you reach the one you
wanted. While adjusting the brightness, the lamp lights up. If the fireplace is switched off,
the lamp goes out and the power indicator lights up.
3. Heater control. Lamp and indicates the status of heater. It's working in low-power status
when is brighten up, in high-power status when is brighten up, turned off when both of
and is dark. When the heater is not in low-power status ( is dark), press < > button will
switch it to low-power status; when it's in low-power status ( is brighten up), press < >
button will turn it off. Similarly, a < > button press will switch the heater to high-power status
when is dark, and turn it off when is brighten up. Please note, that after canceling the
heating function, the fan will still turn for about 20 seconds for safety reasons.
Note, before the heater emits heat or after it stop producing heat, the hot air outlet may output
air for 10 seconds. This is designed for protect circuit, and it's not spoiled.
4. With the <I/0> switch you turn OFF the heater at the switch position <0>.
5. Power off the electric fireplace when you leave it for a long time.
