4 Replacing the battery
1.
Isolate the recorder from the power supply.
Referring to Fig. 4.1:

Unlock the door with the key (if required)

and open the door.

Use a T8 Torx driver to remove 6 Torx screws

securing
the door assembly rear cover and remove the rear cover.

Disconnect processor board flexi-cable

keypad membrane cable

and inverter
cable (if fitted)

from the processor board. Lift out and
discard the processor board.
5.
Turn the processor board over.

Remove battery

and insert replacement.

Position the processor board in the door housing and
reconnect inverter cable

Refit the door assembly rear cover and use a T8 Torx driver
to secure 6 Torx screws

9.
Close and lock the door.
10. Restore the recorder's power supply.
CAUTION – Property damage
The recorder is vulnerable to electrostatic damage.
Wear an anti-static strap or place the instrument on
an anti-static workbench.
