3 I/O module board installation (SM1000 and SM2000)

CAUTION

The recorder is vulnerable to electrostatic damage. Wear an
anti-static strap or dismantle the unit on an anti-static
workbench.

1 Isolate the recorder from the power supply.

2 Referring to Figure 1, remove the recorder from its case.

Note.
Refitting is the reverse of removal.

Withdraw the recorder from its case

Remove tamper-evident seal (if fitted)

Unscrew the jacking screw

Terminal cover (if fitted)

3 Referring to Figure 2 , remove the chassis top cover and PCB

locking bar.

Remove screws (one each side)

Lift up top cover

Remove top cover

Remove PCB locking bar
