configuring the Softstarter.
This manual is a short form manual intended for quick and easy instal-
lation of the PSE Softstarter. For complete information, please see Soft-

In this User Manual, the following symbols are used:
The caution icon located in the left margin, indicates the presence
of a hazard which could result in personal injury.
The warning icon located in the left margin, indicates the pres-
ence of a hazard which could result in damage to equipment or prop-
erty.
The information sign located in the left margin, alerts the reader to
pertinent facts and conditions.
The graphics symbol located in the right margin provides a
reference to graphical information.
Mounting and electrical connection of the softstarter shall be made in
accordance with existing laws and regulations and be performed by
authorized personnel.
When unpacking your new PSE Softstarter, please check for visible
damage. If any is found, contact your local sales agent.
Never lift the softstarter by the connection bars, since it may cause
damage to the product.
Service and repair should be performed by authorized personnel only.
Note that unauthorized repair may affect the warranty.
