5 5 Operating unit
WARNING - The locking clamp must be tightened firmly, otherwise the operating unit can
move abruptly!
Fix the mount for the oper-
ating unit (one clamp) to the
handbrake of the wheelchair
and tighten it with the appro-
priate screws.
Plug the operating unit onto
the round tube, set the ap-
propriate angle and tighten
the grub screw. Make sure it
is tight.

The pre-setting is carried
out by specialised dealers or
AAT.
WARNING - Never short-circuit or connect the poles of the battery to avoid electric shocks!
WARNING - Never use the battery empty or defective, as failure of the battery on upward/
downward slopes will cause the device incl. wheelchair to freewheel and suddenly require
much more force for handling.
CAUTION - Plug-in contacts must be dry!
Insert the battery into the
lower part of the battery
holder.
Click the battery into the
upper part of the holder.
Insert the key for the battery
locking device and turn it
180°.

The battery is locked.
