6 4 Deactivating the drive
Switch off
V-MAX2

Press the ON/OFF switch.
If required:
» Insert the handles back into
the corresponding mounts.
Turn the release switch com-
pletely to the left.
» Drive shafts retract.
6 5 Immobiliser / protection against unauthorised use
On the operating handle,
press the + and - buttons
simultaneously for at least
3 seconds.
To protect the
V-MAX
2
from unauthorised use, apply the integrated immobiliser. This prevents any
movement of the
V-MAX
2
including the wheelchair.
Opening the
immobiliser:
Press the + and - buttons
again simultaneously for
approx. 3 seconds. The
status indicator chang-
es back to continuous
green.
If the immobiliser has been
activated, the status indicator
is flashing green/red.
The wheelchair and the
V-MAX
2
can no longer be
moved.
Activate the parking brakes of
the wheelchair.
The drive shafts must be ex-
tended (if necessary, turn re-
lease switch to the right).
