6 1  Switching on

Insert safety chip for the 

 

engine immobilizer.

 

» Safety chip must latch!

Turn on escalino by pressing 
the 

ON/OFF switch

.

6 2  Neutral position

Bring climbers into the 
neutral position by pressing  
 the UP/DOWN switch.

 

» If  single step mode (see 

Chapter 6.4) is activated, 

climbers will stop 

automatically in the neutral 

position!

  NOTE - Store escalino in a frost-free environment at least one hour prior to start-up to  

 

avoid malfunctions.
