8 Fault conditions and troubleshooting
7.6 Long-term storage
If the C120 is not used for a longer period of time (e.g. several months), observe the following instruc-
tions:

No moisture shall reach the inner parts of the device.
»
Store C120 in a dry place with low relative humidity. If necessary, protect with foils.
»
Store the C120 such that it is protected from solar radiation.
»
Store the C120 such that it is out of reach for unauthorised persons (children in particular).
»
Remove the battery pack prior to storage. Observe the notes in section 7.1.
»
Clean the C120 prior to use (refer to section 7.3).
»
It is mandatory to check the electrical functions and the safety brakes before starting up.
WARNING
- To prevent hazardous situations, do not use the C120 if it shows any abnormal
behaviour.
Turn the C120 on.
The red LED is flashing.
Refer to the table "Fault con-
ditions".
Turn the C120 off.
