Night Service
When the exchange is in Night Service mode, all your incoming
calls to the operator are transferred to a selected extension or
group of extensions. The exchange has three different Night
Service modes:
Common Night Service
All incoming calls to the operator are transferred to one specific
extension. Answer the call in the normal way.
Individual Night Service
Selected external calls to the operator are transferred to one
specific extension. Answer the call in the normal way.
Universal Night Service
All incoming calls to the operator are transferred to a universal
signalling device. Answer the call as described in section “
Group
Call-pick-up
” on page 47.
Key Monitoring
It is possible to monitor and to answer calls to other extensions
from a programmable function key on your phone. This feature is
useful in e.g. Boss-Secretary applications. To answer calls on a
Monitoring key, see section “
Answer calls
” on page 14.
The following status can be indicated on the Monitoring key:
1
The monitored extension is free (lamp is off).
2
An incoming call to the monitored extension (lamp with fast
flash).
3
The monitored extension is busy (lamp is on).
4
The monitored extension has performed common hold (lamp
with slow flash).
The Monitoring keys are programmed by your system
administrator.
To make calls on a Monitoring key, see section “
Speed Dialing
” on
page 25.
