Because of our “Low Q Ratio” technology
and outstanding design engineering the
SUB-60 and SUB-120 are “clean”, “deep”,
“dynamic” and “musical”. The perfect

The sound is clean thanks to the long
throw woofers with 17 mm of linear
excursion and a power amplifier which is
a classic low distortion class B amplifier
with sophisticated circuitry to eliminate
crossover distortion. Both woofer and
amplifier are kept within their linear range
by smart limiting circuitry so the sound
remains equally fantastic at all times.
Deep bass to 20Hz is assured with our
“Low Q Ratio” technology air aligned
cabinets. Dynamism in the SUB-60 and
SUB-120 is achieved by using woofers with
large magnets and light weight “Low Q
Ratio” cones in combination with the
amplifier which can supply large current
peaks. Compression is further avoided in
high current peaks because the voice
coil remains cool. This is achieved by the
coil’s large size and clever ventilation
system.
If you wish to listen to music and not just
sound effects you need a subwoofer that
is musical. A musical subwoofer is not
only clean and dynamic but also doesn’t
produce unwanted sound from either the
cabinet walls or vent. To accomplish this,
our cabinets have thick variable density
cabinet walls and zero turbulence vents.
Our subwoofers are not just
technologically advanced but built to
last. This is punctuated by the fact that all
parts are chosen for long term reliability
and can perform well above their
required specification. We also design
positional flexibility into our subwoofers
because we know the sound system has
to fit in with you. The SUB-120 even has an
inbuilt high pass filter to protect small
speakers from excessive bass which is
very handy if you wish to use small
satellite speakers.
