4.2 Magnetic Stripe Reader (MSR)

The MSR allows user read data off magnetic stripes. A pre-installed app is

available for testing this functionality.

Scanning a Magnetic Stripe

1.

Open the app

2.

Check if the reader is properly

connected (indicator will be green.

Check connection if it is red)

3.

Swipe the magnetic stripe across the

reader to read.

4.

If successful, embedded information

will be shown as depicted in the

screenshot

5.

Tap the trash bin icon to clear
