TEP 2
Secure Bow & Stern.
1. Keep the Strap end opposite the Ratchet Device. Insert
end of Strap into the spindle slot of Ratchet Device. Pull
strap through and up and back to take up slack. ( See Fig
6-1 & 6-2 )
2. Push down and pull up the handle to work the Ratchet
until the Strap is securely tight( See Fig 7-1 ). To lock
Ratchet, always leave handle in closed position.( Fig 7-2
shows closed position )
1. Pull the handle up and fully open handle 180 degrees( See
Fig 8-1 )
2. Pull back on the quick release and hold. pull tie-down up to
loosen Strap and pull out Strap from Ratchet.( See Fig 8-2 )
Place Anchor Straps under front hood & trunk lid( See Fig 9-1 ). Tightly secure kayak to the front and rear of
your vehicle using hooks the end of ropes, put hooks the other end of ropes to connect Anchor Straps

tighten ratchet to secure fastening points. Then Push the kayak with strength to check if it securely held. You
must re-tighten all straps and ropes if it move back and forth.( See Fig4; Fig 9-2 )
