2. INSTALLATION
2.1. Installation Procedure
1.
Important: Before performing any work on the valve make sure that all workers on site are familiar with the safety
instructions and the relevant local and general safety instructions and work regulations.
2. Before installing the valve, flush the pipeline to remove scale, dirt and other particles that might affect the valve
performance.
3.
Carefully remove the valve from the shipping package. Unload all the valves carefully to a sturdy and level surface,
taking care not to drop them.
4. Valves fitted with hoist rings should only be lifted and conveyed using these hoist rings.
5.
It is recommended that the valve be easily accessible and clearly marked for preventing damage.
6. Install the valve as indicated by the arrow on the valve bonnet, indicating flow direction [ 11 ].

It is recommended to install isolation valves upstream and downstream of the control valve [
12a &12b
].
8. Close the 2 -way outlet ball valve [ 3 B], and turn on the upstream ball valve [ 3 a].
9. Turn on the water supply to the valve.
10. Check for leaks; tighten bolts & fittings, if necessary.
11. Turn the locking nut on both pilot valve adjustment bolts [ 4 a & 5 a] counterclockwise, until it touches the bottom
of the adjustment bolt head [ 4 b & 5 b]
12. Turn the adjusting bolts of the two pilots [ 4b ] & [ 5b ] counter-clockwise until there is no pressure on their springs.
13. Connect the solenoid wires to the electronic controller and make sure that no electrical command is sent to the
solenoid.
14.
Close the

isolation valves [
12a &12b
].
15. Connect the controller to the solenoid. Do NOT turn on yet.
