Check the angle of the 

derailleur by standing 

up and viewing the 

cage from above.

Check that the front 

derailleur is parallel to 

the chainwheel.

If you find that you 

have to adjust the 

height and/or the 

angle of the derailleur, 

use a 5MM Allen Key 

to release the fixing 

clamp. Realign the 

height and the angle of 

the derailleur. You will 

need to pull the cage 

forward and position 

the cage 2MM above 

the chainwheel in order 

to properly align the 

derailleur.
