You can access your Playon!DVR

remotely through a web-browser and can

Manage the files from the Playon!DVR

to a local connected PC.

Set up the time-scheduling recording of your Playon!DVR

Download Torrent files directly to your Playon!DVR

In order to use this feature, you need to connect your Playon!DVR
HD
to a router and do [Port Forwarding /
Port number: 80] or [DMZ Server] on the router. For more information on how to setup [Port Forwarding],
please refer to your router manual.
On your Playon!DVR
HD
, you need to set up the following;
-. IP Address: Assign a fixed IP address to your Playon!DVR
HD
-. Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
-. Default Gateway: Key in the local IP address of your router
(If your router is using a dynamic IP address then you need to enable DDNS function).
-. DNS Server IP Address: For Bittorrent download, you need to input the DNS server IP address.
To remotely access your Playon!DVR
HD
, launch a web browser on your PC such as Internet Explorer or
Firefox, etc and key in the following in the address bar.
Example: http://123.456.789.123:8080 where 123.456.789.123 is your router external IP address and 8080 is
the port number you have assigned for port forwarding. Please refer to your router setup page for obtaining
the external IP address and port number.
