Inserting a 3/8 square drive socket

Select the socket which correctly

fits the nut or bolt being tighter or

removed. Ensure the socket is

exactly the correct size.
Fit the square 3/8 hole onto the

output shaft of the impact wrench

and push all the way onto the

shaft.
The socket is retained on the shaft via a retaining ring at the

front of the shaft and this creates a small resistance when

fitting and removing the socket.
To remove the socket, Pull the socket firmly off the wrench

shaft. The socket will slide along the shaft for a short way

and then will need increased force to fully remove.

Inserting a driver or nut setter bit into the

impact driver attachment.

Fit the adaptor on to the impact

wrench. Slide the chuck  sleeve

FULLY forward and insert the

6.35 mm hex drive bit into the hex

hole (chuck) of the adaptor. Fully

insert and then release the chuck

sleeve.
Grasp the driver bit and slowly

pull the bit out of the chuck until

the sleeve “click” into place,

retaining the driver bit.
To release a driver bit, slide the

chuck sleeve fully forward and

remove the bit from the chuck.

Impact wrench safety features

Wrench Overload

This wrench is fitted with an overload protection. If the

wrench is excessively forced, or the task being performed

is too great for the wrench, the wrench will automatically

go into an overload mode. When the wrench goes into

overload, the wrench will automatically and suddenly STOP.

To reset the overload, simply release the trigger. When the

trigger is pressed again, the wrench will restart. It is unlikely

the wrench will be overloaded as the wrench is fitted with an

internal clutch to operate the impacts thus the load is limited

to this clutch force.

CAUTION.

Do not continue to overload the wrench and

constantly reset the overload. Doing this will cause the

battery cells to over heat.

Temperature Cut Out

If the wrench is constantly overloaded, or the wrench

is used constantly at maximum rating in high ambient

conditions, the battery cells may over heat causing the

battery pack

to shut down.
The yellow indicator on the battery pack will stay illuminated

in this condition. When this occurs you will need to

immediately stop the Impact Driver/Wrench and allow the

battery cells to reduce the temperature.
To reduce the temperature of the cells remove the battery

pack from the wrench and place the battery pack in a free

air environment, out of direct sunlight or any other heat

source.
DO NOT force cool the pack in any way. Do not place in

refrigerators or freezers.
When the battery pack has cooled down it can again be

used to operate the wrench, as long as the load or the

conditions causing the original excessive temperature

has been corrected.
