Unpacking

Due to modern mass production techniques, it is unlikely

that your 909 Power Tool is faulty or that a part is missing.

If you find anything wrong, do not operate the tool until the

parts have been replaced or the fault has been rectified.

Failure to do so could result in serious personal injury.

Switching on and off

1. With the cordset fitted to

a power outlet, switch the

scraper on by sliding the

switch forward.

2. To turn off the scraper slide

the switch right back to the

OFF position.

Adjusting the speed

The speed can be adjusted to

suit the material being scrapped.
To adjust the speed, move the

switch forward until you are

satisfied that the speed is what

you need for the job in hand.

Attaching a scraper/

blade

WARNING.

Remove the plug from the socket before

carrying out any adjustment, servicing or maintenance.

WARNING.

Never use the scraper unless a scraper/blade is

fitted into the blade/tool holder (5) and locked into place by

the blade/tool lock switch (4).

WARNING.

Be careful of the sharp edges of the scrapers/

blades, as they could cause injury.
1. Select a tool attachment (scraper/blade) that is most

suited to the task at hand.

2. Press the tool lock (4) backwards into the

“Unlock” position.

3. Push the selected tool

attachment into the tool

holder location (5) until it

reaches a stop.

4. Lock the tool attachment

(scraper/blade) in place by

pressing the tool lock (4)

forwards into the “Lock”

position. Ensure that the tool

attachment has been securely

fitted before turning the

machine on.

Note.

Make sure you fit the tool

the right way round. The inside of

the curve on the shank / working

edge of the tool attachment must

point downwards.

WARNING.

 Do not continue to

use the machine with a

worn or damaged tool attachment (scraper/blade).

Using the scraper
