Installing accessories
All accessories supplied are installed on the oscillating tool
in a similar manner. For the purposes of describing the
accessory installation, the plunge cutting blade is used.
WARNING
: Disconnect battery pack from oscillating tool or
place the switch in the locked or off position before making
any assembly, adjustments or changing accessories. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the
tool accidentally.
1. Remove the outer flange screw (11) from the outer flange
(10) by turning the screw counter clockwise. Use the
5mm hex key if the screw is too tight to be removed by
hand.
2. Remove the outer flange (10).
3. Place the plunge cutting blade
onto the inner flange (12).
Note: the inner flange has
multiple notches that enables
you to position the plunge
cutting blade where required.
The blade can be mounted at
various angles left or right of
centre if required.
4. When you have selected
the location for the plunge
cutting blade, place the outer
flange (10) on top with the
depressed end showing
outwards.
5. Insert the outer flange screw
(11) into the outer flange
(10), and using the 5mm
hex key tighten the screw in
a clockwise direction until it
is finger tight.
Using the accessory
adaptor to install
other branded accessories
1. The accessory adaptor (9) is used for accessories that
are not 909 branded. This includes Bosch, Dremel and
WorX accessories with an inner circular bore of 10mm
diameter.
WARNING: DO NOT use
accessories with the accessory
adaptor with a diameter of less
than 10mm.
2. Remove the outer flange
(10) by loosening the outer
flange screw (11) using the
5mm hex key in a counter
clockwise direction.
3. Once the outer flange (10) is removed place the
accessory adaptor (9) over the inner flange (12) fitting the
depressed pentagon over the raised pentagon fitting on
the inner flange (12).
