Introduction
In the 75F™ system, the WRM is the
equivalent of a zone controller. It senses
room
temperature
and
supply
air
temperature. Following instructions from the
CCU, the WRM controls up to two smart
dampers in the supply air diffusers.
The WRM ‘pairs’ with the CCU via a secure
wireless mesh network. During pairing, the
CCU associates the WRM with a particular
zone that the user defines.
Under normal circumstances, the WRMs
modulate the air flow by adjusting the
position of the smart dampers as per the CCU
command. However, the WRM maintains a
local copy of the zone schedule and operates
in a standalone mode in communication is
lost. It will change the desired temperature
per schedule and control the damper
according to its last update.
