Frozen II allows young children to learn coding skills through intuitive code
cards that do not rely on reading ability or language skills. Children can arrange these cards in sequence
to code the program and solve the maze. This is a very tangible approach to developing computational
thinking without the use of a screen or other complex syntax beyond their level of understanding. This
game requires children to organise the code cards, count the physical grids, place the obstacles and input
the commands using specially designed patent Snap-To-Code

technology in order to instruct Elsa how
to move across the maze.

Coding trains children in critical thinking and
problem solving - specifically in identifying
a complex problem and breaking it down into
manageable tasks. These are skills that translate to
real life. And just like learning a language, children
are quick to pick up coding. Designing a code from
scratch also encourages creativity.
Computers can only follow logical step-by-step
instructions. As a result, all computer code has to be
designed in a very logical way. Writing instructions
for computers is known as coding. In a broader
sense, coding can be considered as the process of
building a series of steps, in the form of simple
commands, to complete a task. In our case, it is a
set of instructions to direct Elsa to solve the maze.
