9. Run the “mbpoll.exe” software, click "Setup> Read / Write Definition". 
10. Enter "4" in the "Slave ID" text box. 

 

11. Other parameters remain the default, click “OK”.

Connection > Connection Setup ". 

13. Click the "Connection" drop-down list box and select "Modbus TCP / IP". 

 

14. In the “Remote Server” check box, configure the Modbus gateway IP address, port 

number, and connection timeout. 

15. Other parameters remain the default, click "OK". 

 

Check the normal communication between the TCP master and the ASCII slave.
